Indigo Magazine - English - N1
INDIGO aims to bring the newest, the boldest, the craziest, and the noblest ideas to Georgian readers in the form of print, web and live events. We believe that the cross-cultural links and access to knowledge, thoughts and approaches accumulated in Western culture serves as the most valuable growth stimulator for locals.
This first issue of INDIGO in English is a totally unique product. It is neither news publication about Georgia for expats nor a solid, constant or everlasting narrative that a book might be.
Instead, the English language edition of INDIGO can be viewed as a visually and textually appealing archive, the precious collectible compilation of thoughts, observations, research, aspirations and world-views of those Georgians we considered to be game-changers in the fields of literature, music and beyond.
The English language INDIGO is also about those Georgians who are themselves breaking out of cultural barriers and who offer sincere reflections on their country and their personal dilemmas. This publication can also be of interest to English-language readers because it covers the issues that are most discussed and most pressing in the country. INDIGO offers personal essays based on profound journalistic research rather than just news beats; thus it opens whole new depths and layers of thought that were heretofore unavailable to English-speaking followers and supporters of our country.
